Made from a heavy-duty polymer (plastic), our industrial-grade carts are designed to withstand heavy loads and frequent use in a variety of environments, including foodservice, healthcare, and commercial facilities. Because polymer doesn’t corrode, these plastic utility carts can be used in wet and damp environments, such as walk-in coolers, and can handle frequent sanitation.  

Additionally, Metro’s plastic carts come in various colors, sizes, and configurations to fit your application. All plastic cart models are available in both two- and three-tier configurations and have optional accessories to meet your precise needs and specifications.

myCart 

The Metro myCart is an extremely versatile plastic rolling cart solution for various industries. The myCart plastic utility cart is designed to resist corrosion from rust or other outside sources and is impact-proof to help it handle harsh environments and constant use.  

We designed the Metro myCart with functionality in mind. Its unique design includes about 50% more legroom compared to other plastic utility carts, ensuring you won’t be bumping your legs as you walk. Additionally, the cart’s polymer surface is smooth for easy cleaning, and the tray is designed with use in mind: it won’t stain, and it has a ridge around the top to contain spills for easy cleanup. 

Some models include Microban antimicrobial built into the shelf itself, helping to keep the cart cleaner between routine cleanings. The cart is NSF-approved for use in a food service environment. 

myCart comes in 16x27”, 20x30”, and 26x36” configurations. Each cart includes labels for easy identification and features a utility tray for holding smaller items or keeping tools within arm’s reach. Metro’s myCart Plus models offer 5 heights for better ergonomics, more undershelf storage and adjusts to meet other shelves or work surfaces.

Deep Ledge Cart 

Looking for greater spill protection or a larger barrier for items that shift during transport? Then a Metro deep ledge utility cart may be right for you. Like Metro’s myCart, deep ledge utility carts come in various configurations and colors to best suit your facility. Each plastic utility cart comes with four heavy-duty casters for quiet and efficient transportation, making them an ideal choice for hotels, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities.  

The Metro deep ledge utility carts come in grey, black, and blue color options with a smooth surface for easy cleaning. The blue color choice comes with built-in Microban anti-microbial protection, which inhibits the growth of microorganisms, helping the cart stay cleaner.  

With its thoughtful, ergonomic design, Metro’s deep ledge plastic utility cart is easy and comfortable to push. Additionally, we designed our handles to have a more comfortable grip without a large amount of strain. The optional center shelf can be adjusted to 1” increments to create additional storage space on each cart, creating a custom solution for your material handling needs.  

Each shelf can hold up to 150 lbs. Each 2-tier cart can hold up to 200 lbs. and 3-tier carts can hold up to 400 lbs. Our deep ledge carts can easily be put together without tools for simple assembly and maintenance. 

MetroMax Industrial Plastic Shelving Cart  

MetroMax I is the strongest, most versatile, corrosion-proof shelving system in the world. And now you can get those same benefits in a heavy-duty polymer utility cart. The MetroMax I industrial plastic utility shelf is available in 2-shelf and 3-shelf models, which can be adjusted in 1” increments.  

The removable polymer shelf mats are easy to clean and include built-in Microban antimicrobial product protection. Each cart comes with a type 304 stainless-steel handle and 4 corrosion-resistant casters. MetroMax I utility carts offer a load capacity of up to 900 lbs.  

MetroMax Q plastic utility carts offer similar benefits to our MetroMax I options, including removable polymer shelf mats with built-in Microban, a type 304 stainless-steel handle, and 4 corrosion-resistant casters. MetroMax Q 2- and 3-shelf utility carts have quick-adjust shelves that can easily be repositioned in 1” increments, making them a very versatile material handling solution.
