Metro HotBlox Xpress Quick-Pick Countertop Holding Cabinets provide compact, high-efficiency hot food holding designed for high volume, fast-paced kitchens like Quick Serve Restaurants and Convenience Stores. HotBlox Xpress is also suitable for hot food display and self serve applications.

HotBlox Xpress has the flexibility to hold either moist or crispy food with the same cabinet using hybrid convection-radiant heating technology. Switch from one style of food to another throughout the day, or stack multiple units and hold different types of food in the same vertical space! The convection-powered system draws humidity up and releases out a rear vent while the door vent intakes dry replacement air to help maintain crispiness and release humidity given off by the food. The radiant floor element allows you to place a pan of water on the floor of the cabinet to create moisture and keep moist food moist.

The shallow depth design creates more useable counter space to assemble orders and facilitate access to product. Quick-flip doors and adjustable shelves that can be installed flat or angled allow for easy access and effortless food picking, allowing for more efficient order processing. The integrated LED lighting improves visibility to speed up order picking and display food prominently.

HotBlox Xpress Cabinets can be configured with your choice of a Touchscreen Control or a traditional Simple Control Option. The Touchscreen Control Option displays relative humidity levels inside the cabinet to help maintain better food quality. Menu presets assure operators are using the correct holding temperatures, and assures repeatability and consistency across the organization. Programmable timers help manage holding times and first-in-first-out (FIFO), giving better control over food quality and consistency. USB port with built-in HACCP data logging to enhance food safety. Help/training support that quickly links you to valuable resources so everything you need is at your fingertips. The Simple Control Option features an electro-mechanical thermostat and a simple digital thermometer for basic holding needs at a more cost-effective price.

S4 cabinets include two nickel chrome-plated wire shelves, which can hold up to two 13" x 18" full-size sheet pans, two 12" x 20" x 2.5" full-size steam/hotel pans (1/1 GN Pan 65 mm), or six 1/3 pans. Additional shelves can be added to the cabinet to increase pan capacity. Users also have the option to receive four pairs of pan slides in lieu of shelves to double their pan capacity. This option must be ordered with the cabinet and factory-installed.

Small HotBlox Xpress Cabinets are 32.3" (821 mm) wide x 16.9" (429 mm) deep x 21.2" (539 mm) high. Models with a pass-thru door are 17.8" (452 mm) deep.

Includes 6 foot (183 cm) long cord with NEMA 5-15P plug (120V, 60Hz, 875W). 220-240V options include a 6 foot (183 cm) long cord with NEMA 6-15P plug (220-240V, 50/60Hz, 735-875W).
