MetroMax 4 Industrial Plastic Shelving Add-On Units

MetroMax 4 Industrial Plastic Shelving Add-On Units are designed to expand existing MetroMax 4 shelving systems without requiring additional starter units. By sharing posts with an adjacent shelving unit, add-on sections reduce the number of posts required while creating a continuous shelving configuration.

Each add-on unit includes two posts (with leveling feet), the specified number of MetroMax 4 shelves (with wedge connectors), and two standard stainless-steel S-Hooks per shelf for secure attachment to an adjacent unit. For L-shaped configurations, a Corner Add-On S-Hook Kit (MAX4-CNR4 or MAX4-CNR5) is required and sold separately.

Built for both dry and damp environments, each rack is constructed entirely of high-strength, heavy-duty plastic and carries a lifetime warranty against rust and corrosion. MetroMax 4 plastic racks won’t rust, flake, or break down in wet or frequently cleaned areas. Built-in Microban antimicrobial product protection is included in the shelf mats.

Add-on shelves can be positioned on 1" increments during initial setup. Each shelf includes easily removable mats that can be washed by hand or in a dishwasher. Grid-style mats allow for greater airflow and light penetration. Solid shelves provide a continuous surface for smaller items, linens, or spill containment.

End-to-end and corner configurations maintain a maximum load capacity rating of 2000 lbs. per unit.
