MetroMax Q Industrial Plastic Shelving Add-On Units

MetroMax Q Industrial Plastic Shelving Add-On Units are designed to expand existing MetroMax Q shelving systems without requiring additional starter units. By sharing posts with an adjacent shelving unit, add-on sections reduce the number of posts required while creating a continuous shelving configuration.

Each add-on unit includes two polymer posts (with adjustable leveling feet), the specified number of MetroMax Q shelves (with one-piece wedge connectors), and two standard S-Hooks per shelf for secure attachment to an adjacent unit. For right-angle configurations, a MetroMax Q intermediate S-Hook kit (Q9995Z) is required (sold separately).

MetroMax Q hybrid plastic shelving combines removable plastic shelf mats with epoxy-coated wire shelf frames and rust-proof polymer posts. Shelves carry a 25-year warranty against rust and corrosion, while polymer posts are rust-proof and backed by a lifetime warranty. Shelf mats include built-in Microban antimicrobial product protection.

Add-on shelves can be positioned on 1" increments during initial setup. Open-grid shelf mats promote airflow and light penetration and can be removed for cleaning in a sink or commercial dish machine. Units are also available with a solid bottom MetroMax i shelf.

End-to-end and corner configurations maintain a maximum load capacity rating of 2000 lbs.
